In this course, we’ll explore how nursing has evolved over time and how the DNP degree came about. We’ll look at using evidence to improve the health of big groups of people. You’ll learn to think about healthcare in a more advanced way, focusing on creating programs that make patients, communities, and the overall health system better based on the best available evidence. We’ll also check out new ways of doing things in nursing and other areas. In this course, you’ll take a close look at a healthcare problem or question for your DNP project and figure out who it affects the most. You’ll spend around 50 supervised hours practicing what you’re learning, and this time can be part of your doctoral project. The course is called “DN703: Scientific Foundations for Practice Doctorate.”
