In this course, you’ll learn how to carefully look at and use different methods and tools to improve the quality of care for specific groups of people. We’ll focus on understanding and evaluating issues within a population, like how things are done, policies, or how organizations provide care. We’ll stress the importance of using evidence-based practices to create and put into action solutions for these issues. We’ll also explore ways to check if the solutions are working. By the end of the course, you’ll create and defend a proposal for your DNP project. You’ll spend about 80 supervised hours practicing what you learn, and this time can be part of your doctoral project.
