The DNP project is like a big project where you can really dig into a topic you like in advanced nursing. You’ll get to analyze, put things together, and use what you learn in a real-world setting. The DNP Faculty Mentor, a second faculty reader, and a practice facilitator will be there to guide you as you work on your project. You’ll spend about 120 hours doing hands-on practice, and this time can count toward your doctoral project. It’s a great way to apply what you’re learning in a practical way.
