Leadership 2.0 Self-Assessment (Post-Course Assignments)
Question
You are asked to upload a 1-page reflection on your assessment of your leadership skills and behaviors development. You may recall that at the beginning of the course you completed a 2-page Leadership Action Plan that included identifying highest and lowest leadership skills and behaviors, a plan for action and a mentor. Our intent in this course was to align course assignments, learning activities, resources, and timely feedback aimed at enhancing and reinforcing your leadership development and transformation. Using the questions below, write a one-page reflection of your experience (references are optional).
- Using the Plan for Action you created at the beginning semester, describe how the actions you listed (and mentor) contributed to your professional development as a transformational leader.
- Provide examples in your reflection of how course assignments, learning activities, and resources engaged and impacted your leadership skills and behaviors.
- Identify the next steps and actions you plan to take to continue your professional development and goal of life-long learning as a DNP nurse leader.
