Through hands-on practice, students will gain confidence, transitioning from student to advanced practice nurse. Classroom activities and case studies will help explore the intricate healthcare system, covering various governmental, social, and personal resources for acutely ill adults of all ages. Clinical experiences in hospitals will provide ongoing opportunities to create, implement, and assess management plans for adults and older individuals dealing with complex acute, critical, and chronic conditions. The emphasis is on applying knowledge in patient management and fostering collaboration between the advanced practice nurse, patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
