In this part of the program, you’ll gain knowledge and skills in leadership for healthcare organizations. We’ll focus on evidence-based practices and teach you how to assess leadership theories and organizational models. You’ll explore how things like money, health policies, different people involved, technology, and teamwork affect how healthcare organizations operate. Your goal is to find a leadership model that matches your DNP project focus. You’ll also need to spend about 50 supervised hours putting what you’ve learned into practice, and this time can count toward your doctoral project.
