Writing SMART goals and AIMS statements may be new for many of you. In class, you’ll share a draft of your AIMS statement and project goals with a small group of peers and faculty to get feedback. You are encouraged to use this feedback to improve your AIMS statement and project goals before submitting them to your advisor for grading.

- Working title of DNP project: “Reducing Patient-Staff Aggression on an Adult Psychiatry Unit through De-escalation Training for Staff”
- Setting: Inpatient
- Population of interest: General Adult Psychiatric Population
- Draft AIMS statement
- Draft project goals: Should be between 5%-15%
